Dragon Boat racing was featured in the inaugural KHELO INDIA Water Sports Festival 2025, held at the iconic Dal Lake, Srinagar August , 2025. This landmark inclusion marked a historic milestone for the sport in INDIA, showcasing it on a national platform alongside Olympic disciplines like Rowing, Canoeing, and Kayaking.

The Telangana Dragon Boat and Traditional Water Sports Association is the state's governing body for dragon boat and traditional water sports. We are proud to be affiliated with the national-level Dragon Boat India and Traditional Sports Federation (DBITSF).
Our Mission: To promote and organize Dragon Boat, Rowing, Canoe, and Kayak events across Telangana, bringing the thrill of water sports to both rural and suburban areas.
Our Goal: To elevate state-level athletes to National and International platforms, fostering a culture of excellence and sportsmanship.
